I got involved in SASS in 2001 and attended my first shoot after I purchased a second revolver. As a way to supply my self with other items needed for the sport and because my wife was looking for something different to do, we opened a store in Missouri. We carried Wah Maker clothing and other western gifts and Southeastern Native American art and Southwest items. Shortly after opening, 911 happened. I feel with the economy slowing and that our location did not turn out to be as good as we thought, we closed our store in 2002. I also feel that we did not advertise in the right areas which may have overrided the location issue. I still wanted to try to have a business, so I created my web page and I plan to set up at western gun shoots, gun shows and other types of shows that my products would fit in. So far I have only set up at the Border Skurmish in Higginsville that they have in May. I will set up there again in 2005 and plan to start at gun show. My hope is to be able to open another store finding a better location and advertizing better. If I can accomplish this, I will apply for an FFL to sell western guns and ammo. Hope you enjoy your visit to my web page and can find something of interest to you. If you are in my neighborhood, drop me a call and I can tell you where I live and we can get together around the fire and share stories.
